Friday 14th Oct.
2 - 9pm Langdale Merz Barn at the Royal Academy in London Exhibition of work by Langdale artists and craftsmen and children's art work (from Langdale School) at the Royal Academy London, at Chapel Stile village hall. Exhibition continues 10am-5pm., Sat. 15-Sun. 17th Oct.
7.30pm MERZMAN - a new documentary film about Kurt Schwitters' life and work in Langdale and in Cumbria (Celtic Storm Films - Producer, Rick McLeod ) ChapelStile Village Hall.

Saturday 15th Oct.
10 - 6pm Exhibitions and art events at the Merz Barn:
(a) The Entartete Kunst Memorial Project and the Tree Root sculpture (a work in progress) by artist Jill Rock; (b) Planning the Merz Barn - a rare insight in to Schwitters' drawings and plans for the finished Merz Barn; (c) Merztexte - proposals for Ursonate and Anna Blume public art & text projects; ( d) Harry Pierce and Cylinders Estate, an early experiment in botanic garden design; (e) DIY Art Schools exhibition documenting recent art student projects at the Merz barn - RCA, Slade, Leeds U. and MMU student projects and summer schools; (f) Young Eyes - Childrens' art projects at the Merz Barn and the Million Snakestick art project.
2.00pm Exhibition Opening - THE GOLLY STUDIO and CARAVAN PRESS: Hilde Goldschmidt and Gwyneth Alban at Langdale Estate and Cylinders Farm - works by Hilda Goldschmidt and Gwyneth Alban Davis who were artist contemporaries of Schwitters. Exhibition research and production by Lloyd Gibson and Robert Montgomery.
3.00 Lloyd Gibson KS11 Annual Schwitters Memorial Lecture: 'The Topography of ANNA: decoding the Merzbarn.'
6.00 BBQ and reception followed at 7.30pm by MERZProjections; a programme of light installations, poetry, new media projects and films about, or inspired by, Kurt Schwitters - coordinated by artist/curator Graham Martin.
Sunday 16th Oct.
10 - 6pm Exhibitions continue at the Merz Barn, TOC-H and ChapelStile village hall
2 - 4pm Childrens' Snakestick art workshops on site at the Merz barn.
3.00pm TOC-H a community asset? Open public meeting and display about the future of the TOC-H Bunk barn, at the Wierside bunk barn.
